Who he was

Tchognon Charles SEGNON was born on 30 December 2004. He passed away on the night of 19 October 2026, aged 21.

A computer science student at UCAO-UUT since 2022, he lit the spark of Codeurs Pro with two friends he met in his first year. Together, they wanted the place they were missing: a space where you learn by doing, share what you know, and no one moves forward alone.

Sharing was already part of him. For nearly two years, he was a volunteer tutor at UCAO-UUT, giving his time to help other students understand networks and improve. Within Codeurs Pro, he led and coordinated the Codeurs Pro Future branch. Many young members of the community saw him as a mentor.

His passion was cybersecurity. He trained through practice, in a remote internship at ShadowFox: penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, network security. After an internship at Group Vivendi Africa (GVA Canalbox), he became a junior information security analyst at Yas Togo, in Lomé, in August 2025. He kept learning and earning certifications, including in risk analysis with the EBIOS Risk Manager method.

To those who founded Codeurs Pro with him, he was a friend and a brother. His vision, values and ambitions continue to guide the community. Through it, part of his legacy lives on.

Understand the risk before trying to reduce it.
