This page explains what data Codeurs Pro collects on codeurspro.com, why, how long it keeps it, and what your rights are. It is based on Law No. 2019-014 of 29 October 2019 on the protection of personal data in Togo.

The data we collect
Your account
When you join the Hub waiting list: your email address, your name, your profile (student, professional or enthusiast), your interests, your city, your country, your language, and the date on which you accepted these terms. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, your email address and an account identifier from Google, nothing else.
The waiting list and referrals
Your place in the list, your referral code, the person who referred you and the people you have referred. Your rank is never stored: it is calculated each time it is viewed.
Your Ambassador application
If you apply: your motivation, your experience, your availability and the team's decision.
Tribute messages
If you write on Charles SEGNON's page: your name (or nothing if you remain anonymous), your connection with Charles, your message and your photo if you attach one. The location data of the photo is removed before it is saved.
Contact messages
Your name, your email address, the subject and the text of your message.
Technical data
To protect the website against abuse, your IP address is used to limit the number of requests. It is also recorded, with the type of your browser, for each of your sessions, to detect unusual use of your account; it is deleted 7 days after the session ends. The administrators' actions are recorded in a log (who, what, when, reason).
Why we use it
- To manage your account and your place in the Hub waiting list, to send you your sign-in code and the emails related to the service (welcome, Hub invitation, application decision).
- To run the referral program.
- To review Ambassador applications.
- To publish tribute messages after review, and to pass on to the team and the family those that are reserved for them.
- To reply to your messages.
- To protect the website against bots and abuse.
We do not sell your data, we do not use it for targeted advertising, and we do not send you any newsletter without your consent.

Some of these services are located outside Togo, notably in France and in the United States. Your data is transferred to them only for the purposes described here.

Cookies
The website only uses cookies that are necessary for it to work. No advertising or tracking cookies.

During your visit, the website also keeps some information in your browser: your email address while you sign in and the drafts of your forms. They are erased when you close the tab.
Minimum age
You must be at least 15 years old to create an account. Between 15 and 18, the consent of a parent or legal guardian is required. If you believe that a child under 15 has given us data, write to us: we will delete it.
Your rights
You can at any time:
- view and correct your account information, from the "My account" page;
- delete your account, from the "My account" page: your data is erased immediately, except for the few items that the action log must keep, which are then anonymized;
- request a copy of your data, object to a processing or have a tribute message removed, by writing to contact@codeurspro.com.
We reply within one month. If you believe that your rights are not being respected, you can refer the matter to Togo's Personal Data Protection Authority (Instance de protection des données à caractère personnel, IPDCP).
Security
Your sign-in codes and your session tokens are never stored in plain text. Exchanges with the website are encrypted (HTTPS), and access to the back office is reserved for the team.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page is updated. In the event of a significant change, we notify members by email.
